Continuum Movement Workshop,
The Tongue & Pelvis
(A somatic awakening experience).
Location: Satori Yoga Studio
40 1st Street, 2nd Floor, San Francisco
|
The Pelvis and Tongue is an all-levels Continuum Movement, somatic therapy workshop, centered on gently activating the body's circular, spinal consciousness, and natural fluid motion. The practice of continuum creates an internal climate of cellular nourishment and renewed somatic vitality, by allowing a gentle dissolving of compression in the body's tissue and joints. Continuum practice builds on intuitive, fully embodied movement , that is novel and refreshing. It inspires a breaking through of physical and emotional "obstacles" that limit the flow of healing energy in the body.
Come and dive into the
ancient wisdom of the prevertebral spine, as well as explore the
creative potency alive in the cranium/tongue and pelvic bowl connection. Sensationally awaken to your cosmic and primal roots through Continuum's resonant sounding, vibrational breathing, soulful meditation, and liquid wave motion.

You Will...
- Experience an unraveling and letting go in the Psoas muscle.
- Enhance body consciousness and overall somatic soothing, by embodying your pelvis and cranium in a new way.
- Gain a visceral sense of feeling physical, emotional, and mental balance, and a regenerative, ouroboric flow between your upper & lower body.
- Experience
moving beyond the (fear) limitations of your central nervous system
and tap into the wisdom alive in your body's fluid intelligence.
- Align with the flow of your body's natural rhythms, and continuum wave motion--your biological birthright as a human being.
- Transform old resentments lingering in the enteric brain (the gut) and clear your path to psychic-somatic wholeness.
- Climb
out of cultural constriction, release the pain of an old story, and
find clarity from the depths of your body-being.

"Daphne
helps me to be me. She creates an incredibly open, safe fertile
ground/space where my dance and my being can play deep, heal, and then
teach me. Daphne is completely present with me and I feel so
whole-heartedly listened to, witnessed, and affirmed. Sometimes she
sees me better than I see myself. Our work together has gotten me
through life lessons that felt overwhelming, in a way that became
poetic, sweet, and filled with light!"
